Many people who start in the home business industry start marketing online with NO EXPERTISE and NO IDEA! They join a company and the company gives them a replicated website to market their business to prospects with – WRONG!
Let me explain … these replicated websites are usually flashy with fancy product pictures all over it and has a ton of different directions your prospect can go. This is WAAAYYYY too much information to feed to people upfront. Or perhaps the front pages tells people how great it would be to “Live and work from home, create the freedom you want by just following this system. Work 4 hours a day and you can earn hundreds of thousands of dollars this year” – YEAH RIGHT!
I’m not saying that you can’t earn that kind of money – it’s completely possible! JUST NOT LIKE THAT!
People are so overwhelmed with all the “noise” in today’s society, we have to put “virtual blinkers” on them and guide them in the direction that will HELP them, while also helping us by building our business.
There are 3 main types of websites you could have an an online marketer:
1. Capture Page
2. Information Site
3. Membership Site
I have all three, but I have been in the industry for a while, but you really only need one of them to start seeing results.
So let’s start you off with the most important. The capture page. The capture page is most effective when there is just one main message. So you need to decide WHO you want to help and HOW. For example, my WHO is struggling network marketers. My HOW is showing them a system that will help them build a network marketing business online.
Here’s how that works: Firstly, I find out where struggling network marketers are looking for help online. I then place my capture page in certain places I know they will find me. They enter their details and I either call them to see if I can assist them and they also start receiving my emails, which brand me as an expert and leader and I start developing a relationship. This is the KEY!
I have one main capture page, www.StopStrugglingToday.com which generates me up to 30 leads a day for my network marketing business and I didn’t even design or create it. Seriously, I had no idea what I was supposed to even say on my webpage when I got started, but I use a marketing system that has PRE-BUILT sites, that are customisable, so you don’t look like everyone else. It’s like CLICK, CUT, PASTE ….
There are a few marketing systems on the market that that are good and offer all the tools you’ll need including websites, tracking, emails, and then the training to show you WHERE and HOW to market these pages, so you become the HUNTED and NOT the HUNTER. I personally use THIS ONE.
So, you definitely do NOT need to be a computer nerd/website designer – find products that leverage your time, so you can spend more time on the money-making activities – which is CONNECTING WITH PEOPLE!
